UGA Homecoming Parade
It’s Homecoming week in Athens, Georgia! Look for chalk drawings on Sanford Stadium Drive, parade floats downtown on Friday Night, and former members of the Redcoat band and cheerleading squad on the field on Saturday! Show your school spirit and plan to attend some of the many events lined up around town. If you are a current student or alumni, be sure to check with your school to find out what specific events they have planned.

HOMECOMING PARADE Former UGA gymnast Courtney Kupets will be the grand marshal for the homecoming parade, which starts at 6 p.m. Friday and winds through downtown Athens. The parade will feature the Redcoat Band, floats, displays and appearances by UGA cheerleaders, athletes and university and Athens dignitaries.

HOMECOMING BBQ The UGA Alumni Association’s homecoming BBQ is held at the Alumni Associations Historic Wray-Nicholson House the Friday evening, before the homecoming game.
